Principal

Hello, I’m Stephanie.  After four decades away, I returned to the region of West Africa where I spent part of my childhood growing up in a close-knit educational and cultural community. Raised by an educator-historian and a social worker, I was shaped early by values of learning, service, and cross-cultural understanding that continue to guide my work today. Returning to this place—rich in history, beauty, and complexity allowed me to reconnect with longstanding family ties and reflect on the cultural roots that continue to inform how I think, create, communicate, and lead in my work today.


My work is grounded in my West African American heritage, lived experiences across diverse communities, and years of project and program leadership in complex settings. These experiences have shaped how I understand people, systems, and the often unseen strengths that exist within them. 


Through the Appreciation-Based AI-5D Human-Centered Framework™, I support individuals, teams, and organizations in turning insight into meaningful, sustainable action. My work bridges personal growth, leadership, and organizational change through a deeply human-centered approach—one that centers strengths, learning, and the potential already present within people and systems.


My mission is to unlock potential through an appreciation-based AI-5D human-centered practice that connects strengths, culture, and purpose—turning insight into adaptive, sustainable impact. When these strengths are elevated, they foster continuous learning, collective resilience, and transformation, even in times of uncertainty and change.


At the heart of this work is a defining question:  As technology accelerates, how do we shape a future that continues to reflect our shared humanity?

  • Implemented 360-degree leadership assessments and integrated coaching, mentoring, and experiential learning to improve engagement and performance. 
  • Applied ISD and ADDIE methodologies alongside adult learning theories to develop and facilitate workshops, seminars, listening sessions, and assessments that enhanced employee engagement and supported continuous improvement.
